Cloud Security Leader Role

The position of Senior Cloud Security Program Manager is open, focusing on long-term security outcomes for a cloud service provider. This individual will work closely with external customers and regulated industries to comprehend their needs and review technical security systems and solutions that enable them to operate more effectively, securely, and safely.

This role involves coordinating security-related engagements with both internal and external parties, ensuring effective communication and alignment of security objectives. Additionally, the ideal candidate will identify security packages of work and meticulously plan for their delivery within agreed timeframes, utilizing strategic foresight to anticipate and address potential challenges.

  • Implement leading security frameworks such as ISM, PSPF, DSPF, ASIO T4, NIST into design and build baselines to achieve the agreed security posture.
  • Remain proactive in removing obstacles, fostering innovation, and managing multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment, driving continuous improvement and efficiency.
  • Create, optimize, and support cross-functional working groups and projects, fostering collaboration and synergy across departments to enhance security capabilities.
  • Utilize domain expertise to develop thought leadership material on cloud and emerging technologies, contributing to industry discourse and organizational knowledge sharing.
  • Manage tight deadlines with precision and drive results, exhibiting exceptional attention to detail and ensuring the successful completion of projects and initiatives.

The ideal candidate will possess significant years of experience working in areas related to cloud security, including delivering cybersecurity programs, designing and delivering Security Operations Centres (SOC), auditing, security architecture, regulatory affairs, or public sector agencies involved in cybersecurity management. A deep understanding of at least three of the following areas is also required: information security, cryptography, communication security, service-oriented architectures, cloud-based systems, security risk assessments, or threat modeling.
