**Job Overview**

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Technical Lead to join our Infrastructure Team. As a technical leader, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our cloud services and driving innovation on cloud platforms.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure components including compute, storage, networking, and virtualization.
  • Manage and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) by which resources are deployed and defined.
  • Support the expansion of cloud services into the business and provide input to architectural decisions.
  • Provide advanced support and mentorship to junior engineers.
  • Maintain documentation and promote knowledge sharing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support the Systems Administration Manager as needed.
  • Work with Cyber Security to implement robust security controls, compliance standards, and access policies.
  • Optimize performance and resource utilization across cloud platforms.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in cloud services with a focus on Azure.
  • Solid experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) and DevSecOps Practices.
  • Proficient and experienced with IaC (Terraform and/or Bicep) and cloud automation.
  • Understanding of cloud security principles and compliance standards.
  • Expertise in performance tuning, capacity planning, and disaster recovery.
  • Proven ability to coach and mentor less experienced staff.
  • Relevant Azure or Cloud certifications.
  • Tertiary qualifications in technology, engineering, or similar is considered desirable.
  • Defence security clearance or eligibility to obtain NV1.
