Cover-More Group is a global leader in travel insurance, and we're looking for a skilled Investigations Officer to join our team. As a key member of our Shared Services Team, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the integrity of our claims process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Shared Services Team Leader to provide expert advice and assistance to internal stakeholders on suspected unusual or suspicious claims, activity, or trends.
  • Review claims referred to the Investigations team to determine whether further investigation is warranted.
  • Conduct thorough investigations, including desktop research, open-source information, and telephone interviews.
  • Refer and manage external investigation referrals to ensure appropriate outcomes and minimize investigation costs.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers within company guidelines, regulatory obligations, and SLAs.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across the Cover-More Group to provide regular reporting and updates.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in investigations, preferably in the general insurance environment.
  • Experience interviewing persons suspected of suspicious activity and/or victims of crime.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and application of insurance investigation practices and evidence collection.
  • Excellent attention to detail, planning, and strong administration skills.
  • Investigations or insurance-related qualifications are desired but not essential.
