About the Role

We're seeking a skilled GPU Formal Verification Engineer to join our team at AMD. As a key member of our design verification team, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our GPU products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with architects, modeling engineers, and designers to develop design specifications
  • Develop test plans and specify functional coverage
  • Design and maintain formal verification environments
  • Analyze and improve coverage of the design
  • Identify and implement opportunities for improving AMD's design and verification environment
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in industry in a hardware design or verification role
  • Understanding of all aspects of hardware verification
  • Experience or interest in formal verification
  • Strong knowledge of System Verilog/UVM or formal verification methodologies
  • Experience with RTL code written in Verilog or VHDL
  • Software development skills in C or C++
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in use of formal methods to prove correctness of software or hardware systems
  • Hardware verification using System Verilog/UVM or formal verification methodologies
  • Understanding of graphics API or graphics pipeline knowledge
Academic Credentials

Bachelor or higher degree in Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or a related field.
