About the Role

We're seeking a talented GPU Verification Engineer to join our team at Advanced Micro Devices. As a key member of our verification team, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our cutting-edge GPU designs.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with architects, modelling engineers, and designers to develop design specifications
  2. Design and implement test plans to achieve functional coverage
  3. Develop and maintain formal verification environments to prove correctness of hardware systems
  4. Design and maintain SystemVerilog/UVM test benches to verify hardware functionality
  5. Analyze and improve coverage of the design to ensure optimal performance
  6. Identify and implement opportunities to improve AMD's design and verification environment
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Experience in formal methods to prove correctness of software or hardware systems
  2. Hardware verification using SystemVerilog/UVM or formal verification methodologies
  3. Understanding of RTL code written in Verilog or VHDL
  4. Software development using C or C++
  5. Debugging of hardware or software using industry-standard debug tools
  6. Knowledge of graphics APIs or graphics pipelines is an advantage
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's degree or higher in Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or a related field
