About the Position
  • We are seeking a medical professional to provide telehealth services to residential aged care facilities.
Responsibilities
  • Conduct after-hours telehealth rounds for residents, ensuring timely and high-quality support.
  • Provide clinical oversight, continuity of care, and management of acute issues.
  • Update medication charts, issue prescriptions, and order investigations as needed.
  • Communicate with family members and provide referrals to specialists when required.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation within 30 minutes of completing rounds.
Requirements
  • Current registration with AHPRA as a General or Specialist Practitioner.
  • Confidence using telehealth platforms and electronic medical records.
  • Ability to work reliably and adapt to changing circumstances.
