Expert Tax Professional

We are seeking a skilled tax professional to join our team. This individual will be responsible for delivering high-quality tax advice, reports and strategies to our clients.

The Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic and tailored tax advice to clients
  • Develop and maintain relationships with a diverse group of clients
  • Research and analyse technical tax issues to ensure accurate and effective solutions
  • Assist clients with tax consulting advice, including tax consolidations, small business CGT and SME restructuring
  • Review financial statements and tax returns for various structures
  • Perform financial modelling, calculations and analysis to support tax planning and compliance
  • Collaborate with clients to address ATO reviews, governance matters and audits
  • Work with the ATO to obtain rulings for clients
  • Provide guidance on taxation law, including GST, CGT and international tax
The Ideal Candidate:
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in tax and advisory or taxation consulting
  • Dual degree qualification in Accounting and Law is ideal
  • Proven expertise in strategic tax advice and tax planning
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience with small business CGT, international taxation and financial modelling is an advantage
