Claims Management Opportunity

We're seeking an experienced Claims professional to lead our retail claims team. As a Senior Case Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of complex claims and ensuring our claims processes are followed.

Your primary objective will be to deliver excellent customer outcomes while maintaining the highest standards of quality and professionalism. To achieve this, you'll need to demonstrate strong policy interpretation skills, a deep understanding of insurance regulations, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of complex claims across Income Protection, Death and Terminal Illness.
  • Lead and support case managers in assessing long-term claims.
  • Own and implement claims processes to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to improve claims procedures and efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Solid end-to-end experience in retail life claims.
  • Strong understanding of LICOP (Life Insurance Code of Practice).
  • Broad knowledge of medical, financial, legal, product and regulatory aspects of life insurance.
  • Proven ability to coach, mentor, and lift team capability.
  • Customer focus: aim to meet or exceed customer expectations.
