A transformative career awaits you as a senior case manager in the retail life claims department.
As part of our dynamic team, you will lead and support case managers who assess long-term, death, and terminal illness claims. You will own a small portfolio of complex claims across income protection, death, and terminal illness.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and supporting case managers to ensure high-quality claims processing.
- Developing and maintaining expert knowledge on LICOP (Life Insurance Code of Practice) and medical, financial, legal, product, and regulatory aspects of life insurance.
- Ensuring compliance with claims processes and quality standards, including reporting and remediation where needed.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- End-to-end experience in retail life claims with strong policy interpretation.
- Strong understanding of LICOP and its application in the industry.
- Broad knowledge of medical, financial, legal, product, and regulatory aspects of life insurance.
- Ability to coach, mentor, and lift team capability.
- Certificate IV in Life Insurance (preferred).
