Product Governance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Product Governance Specialist to lead our product suite and ensure compliance with all relevant legislation.

  • This includes managing timelines, resources, and cross-functional teams to deliver successful product initiatives.
  • The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of the superannuation industry and regulatory landscape, as well as proven ability to develop and operationalise product strategies and roadmaps.

About the Role:

  • Lead the maintenance of and update to our suite of product disclosure documents and associated member communications.
  • Manage key responsibilities such as ensuring the product suite complies with all relevant legislation, particularly leading Design and Distribution Obligations.
  • Coach, mentor, develop, and support key stakeholders and other members of the team.
  • Drive operational excellence and support distribution strategies.
  • Sustain continuous and ongoing compliance of Hostplus product, disclosure, DDO, and product governance requirements.

Required Skills:

  • Minimum five years demonstrated experience in a similar role or directly related and relevant role in the financial services industry.
  • At least 3 years demonstrated experience in people leadership roles.
  • Tertiary qualifications in law, marketing, business, or commerce disciplines. Qualifications in project management preferred.
