Colliers is seeking a skilled Finance Manager to join our Real Estate Management Services team in the vibrant Parramatta CBD. This exciting opportunity requires an experienced professional to oversee financial management and reporting for our clients, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality services.

About the Role

This full-time position reports directly to the General Manager and involves providing exceptional services to internal and external clients. The ideal candidate will possess strong accounting skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to work collaboratively with the General Manager and Building Services Manager.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Managing the financial performance of the asset, including income and expenditure, capital works, and financial analysis.
  • Preparing operational and capital expenditure budgets, forecasting, and other financial requirements as directed by the client.
  • Coordinating and managing retail outgoings budgets and reconciliations.
  • Attending to auditor queries for trust accounts and retail outgoings audits.
  • Assisting tenants and clients with finance-related queries and issues.
Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this challenging position, you will require:

  • A proven track record in property finance and property management.
  • CPA qualification or equivalent.
  • Ability to prepare, interpret, and analyze financial reports and handle financial inquiries.
  • Experience in property and lease administration, including knowledge of common retail practices, legislation, procedures, and terminology.
  • Strong understanding of property accounting principles, including budgets, forecasts, financial information analysis, accounts payable, and accounts receivable processes.
