About the Opportunity

We are seeking two highly motivated research-focused academics to join our dynamic First Nations Cancer and Wellbeing Research team at The University of Queensland.

The successful candidates will bring their dedication and expertise to a collaborative environment, working with communities and the community-controlled health sector to achieve equitable health and wellbeing for First Nations peoples.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to our existing research program and explore new directions
  • Deliver high-impact research for and with First Nations peoples
  • Diversify our qualitative, quantitative, and mixed-method research opportunities
About You

We are committed to attracting and retaining diverse talent. The position is open to Australian Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people who are passionate about advancing First Nations health.

You must maintain unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of this appointment.

  • A competitive salary range: $95,618 - $116,908 per annum, plus 17.5% superannuation
