About the Opportunity
The University of Queensland is seeking highly motivated and dedicated research academics to contribute to our dynamic First Nations Cancer and Wellbeing Research team. As a research-focused academic, you will have the opportunity to work alongside a senior Aboriginal researcher and collaborate with communities and the community-controlled health sector to achieve equitable health and wellbeing for First Nations peoples.
We are seeking two researchers who possess a drive to contribute to our existing research program and the vision to explore new directions, delivering high-impact research for and with First Nations peoples. You will have diverse opportunities for qualitative, quantitative, and mixed-method research, and will be working in a collaborative environment with access to world-class facilities and equipment.
About You
The University of Queensland considers that being Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander is a genuine occupational requirement for this position under s25 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1991 (Qld). The position is therefore only open to Australian Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people. You will be required to provide evidence to confirm that you are an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person.
