Capability Development Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Capability Improvement Lead to join our team. This role is responsible for partnering with stakeholders to drive business improvement initiatives and implement process improvements.
Key Responsibilities- Partner with stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions to address these gaps.
- Implement and manage the reporting of contracted services, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
- Facilitate workshops to establish processes and responsibilities, developing flow diagrams and definitions as needed.
- Establish and maintain a process review schedule to continuously improve data collection processes and advance process maturity.
- Develop and implement mitigation strategies to address potential problems and ensure favorable outcomes.
- Liaise with stakeholders to coordinate program activities and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
- Conduct training and workshops to drive change and promote value stream mapping to define current and future states.
- Support Kaizen facilitation and identify opportunities to improve operational processes and efficiencies.
- University degree in Engineering, Asset Management, Supply Chain & Logistics or equivalent.
- Lean and/or Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent experience.
- Previous experience in a collaborative environment.
- Previous experience in Continuous Improvement, Project Lead or Asset Management position.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain an NV1 Defence security clearance.
- Availability to undertake travel where necessary.
A background in the defence industry will be advantageous, particularly knowledge in military systems, Asset Management, sustainment and operational programs.
