Job Title: Senior Speech Pathologist
About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Senior Speech Pathologist to join our team. As a senior member of the team, you will play a key leadership role in delivering high-quality speech therapy services.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Delivering evidence-based speech therapy services to clients across various age groups and settings;
- Providing expert supervision and mentoring to junior team members;
- Conducting comprehensive assessments and developing tailored treatment plans;
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic care;
- Contributing to service development, clinical governance, and quality improvement initiatives.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology and current membership with the Speech Pathology Association;
- Demonstrated clinical experience (3+ years preferred) in dysphagia/swallowing assessments;
- Adult communication assessment and therapy skills;
- High-level clinical documentation and reporting experience;
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and mentoring capabilities.
