Job Title: Senior Speech Pathologist

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Speech Pathologist to join our team. As a senior member of the team, you will play a key leadership role in delivering high-quality speech therapy services.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Delivering evidence-based speech therapy services to clients across various age groups and settings;
  • Providing expert supervision and mentoring to junior team members;
  • Conducting comprehensive assessments and developing tailored treatment plans;
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic care;
  • Contributing to service development, clinical governance, and quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology and current membership with the Speech Pathology Association;
  • Demonstrated clinical experience (3+ years preferred) in dysphagia/swallowing assessments;
  • Adult communication assessment and therapy skills;
  • High-level clinical documentation and reporting experience;
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and mentoring capabilities.
