Unlock the potential of cloud-native storage solutions as a Senior Software Engineer.

We're seeking an experienced professional to join our Storage Layer Services Team. As a key member, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying secure multi-tenant cloud-native storage solutions ensuring performance, automatic failover, and zero downtime.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in programming, debugging, and performance tuning of distributed and/or highly concurrent software systems. They should also possess experience with distributed systems, database internals, and large backend/compiled codebases.

As a Senior Software Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing production-ready applications in Rust
  • Implementing and operating cloud-native storage solutions
  • Diagnosing test failures and performance regressions, and implementing fixes
  • Leading development and project management for large, cross-team initiatives
  • Collaborating with Product Management and Engineering leadership to define product roadmaps

Key skills and qualifications include:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in programming, debugging, and performance tuning of distributed and/or highly concurrent software systems
  • Strong systems fundamentals, including multi-threaded programming and performance profiling
  • Experience with distributed systems
  • Proven experience in building, deploying, and operating multi-tenant cloud services with a focus on operational excellence
  • Familiarity with database internals or experience building core components for data processing systems
  • Experience with large backend/compiled codebases, preferably in Rust or C/C++
  • B.Sc. in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
