Job Description:

As a core member of the Storage Layer Services team, you will be instrumental in re-architecting the MongoDB Cloud Storage Layer. This is an exceptional opportunity to work on a collaborative team delivering high-performance multi-tenant distributed storage services that power customer use cases efficiently.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and operating secure cloud-native storage solutions, implementing production-ready applications, diagnosing test failures and performance regressions, leading development and project management for large cross-team initiatives, and contributing to operational excellence.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in programming, debugging, and performance tuning of distributed and/or highly concurrent software systems
  • Strong systems fundamentals, including multi-threaded programming and performance profiling
  • Experience in distributed systems, building and operating multi-tenant cloud services, and database internals
