**Job Title:** Solutions Engineer


The Solutions Engineer is a seasoned technology expert, responsible for collaborating with clients and internal teams to develop cost-effective solutions integrating hardware, software, services, and ongoing technical support. This role provides multi-technology consulting services on application software, infrastructure, and related technology components.


Main Responsibilities:

  • Apply proven technical networking systems and platform deployment experience in a presales solution architecture capacity
  • Work closely with sales teams to generate demand for modernized data networking with campus, branch, SDWAN/WAN edge, and datacenter/cloud connectivity
  • Convert customer requirements into modernized enterprise networks and create scoped professional services statements of work and bill of materials
  • Develop project execution plans in collaboration with project managers and technical consultants/delivery engineers to provide confidence to customers and accuracy in professional services estimates
  • Drive branded support services attachment to OEM vendor hardware and software


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, engineering, or business or a related field
  • Vendor certifications such as Cisco CCxx, Aruba Certified X, Juniper Certified X
  • Certification and working knowledge of Enterprise Architecture methodologies (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman, SOA, ITIL, COBIT)
  • Safe Scaled Agile certification advantageous
  • Advanced professional technical design, deployment, change implementation, testing, and day-to-day management of Data Networking infrastructure and associated control platforms
  • Advanced client engagement and consulting experience coupled with solid experience in client needs assessment and change management
  • Advanced experience in integrating the solution for the particular project with business domain, enterprise concerns, industry standards, established patterns, and best practices
  • Advanced experience working in an agile development environment
  • Advanced experience in developing, selling, and delivering technical solutions
