Job Summary:

This role involves providing IT support to home and business users for various technical issues. We are looking for a skilled desktop troubleshooter with excellent communication skills and customer service experience.

About the Role:

  • Provide on-site IT support for emails, internet setup, printers, Windows and Mac troubleshooting, data recovery, software and hardware troubleshooting, etc.
  • Travel around different suburbs to provide support services.

Requirements:

">
  1. Minimum 1 year of demonstrated experience in desktop troubleshooting.
  2. Technical knowledge of diagnosing problems and issues such as installation, maintenance, repair, upgrade and configuration, and troubleshooting of desktops, software, hardware, printers, internet, email and operating systems.
  3. Customer-facing experience is an added advantage.
  4. Very strong verbal communication skills.
  5. Owning a vehicle and having a valid Australian driving license is required.
  6. Quick thinker and self-motivated with a go-getter attitude.
  7. Motivated to earn commissions on up-selling support packages to existing customers.
  8. Must be based in Wollongong and have work rights.

Additional Information:

  • This is a part-time role that can be converted to permanent full-time later.
  • No minimum guaranteed number of hours per week.
  • On-demand support role.
  • Prepared to work and travel within a radius of at least 30 kms from your base location.
  • Can choose to work on weekends for additional income.
