Senior Leadership Position

The Royal Agricultural Society of England (RASE) and its sister charity, Innovation for Agriculture (IFA), seek a highly skilled and experienced leader to guide our organisations forward.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a visionary executive to develop strategies in conjunction with the Trustees and implement them seamlessly across both charities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive growth, enhance reputation, and promote the work of both charities with government and other stakeholders.
  • Oversee the effective management of the combined professional staff of c.14 and lead the team to achieve organisational goals.
  • Develop a sustainable programme of income generation through existing and new donors/suppliers.
  • Expand the charities' influence in the wider Agri-food sector and promote their work through various channels.

Requirements:

  • Science educational background to degree standard.
  • Experience of managing a commercial enterprise or similar organisation.
  • Understanding of and enthusiasm for agriculture, food production, land husbandry.
  • Proven track record of fundraising and engagement with supporters and donors, including members, donors, and state bodies.
