Job Description

UNSW School of Education seeks dedicated professionals to deliver high-quality teaching and pursue initiatives that enhance student learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement well-defined teaching philosophies that stimulate student curiosity.
  • Conduct classes, assess student learning achievements, and provide ongoing support to students in undergraduate and postgraduate courses according to UNSW policy.
  • Design and develop innovative learning activities and resources, and assessment and feedback methods using suitable approaches and learning environments.
  • Initiate experimental approaches to teaching and learning with senior academics' guidance.
  • Support the progression of students as individuals and as a cohort to achieve positive learning outcomes.

Additionally, we expect candidates to actively stay up-to-date with discipline knowledge and professional development.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A PhD, teaching qualification, and relevant qualifications and experience in education.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Australian education systems and successful classroom teaching experience.
  • Experience using educational technologies and online delivery methods.
  • Evidence of teaching effectiveness and passion for educational excellence.
