About Our Disability Support Role

We are seeking a dedicated professional to provide high-quality support to our Client in Victoria Point area.

The ideal candidate will have experience in hoisting and bowel therapy, be a fun and bubbly person with an eye for detail, and possess strong communication skills.

The role involves supporting with personal cares, hoist transfers, and light domestic duties. Our Client has requested female Support Workers, and only female applicants will be considered for this role.

Shifts will be available Monday, Wednesday, and Friday (5 hours AM - 2 hours PM), Tuesday and Thursday (2 hours AM - 2 hours PM), Saturday (3.5 hours AM - 2 hours PM), and Sunday (3.5 hours AM - 2 Hours PM).

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
  • Deliver high-quality support to our Client in the capacity they require, the exact way they would like it delivered.
  • Communicate effectively and collaborate with our Clients, team & Support Specialist for their needs.
  • Understand, follow instructions, and be responsive to our Client's needs.
  • Provide support to our Clients as required.
  • Have good rapport building skills and a gentle, encouraging manner.
  • Be reliable and flexible to fill shifts when required.
  • Have an interest in building a respectful relationship with our Clients.
  • Support our Clients to achieve their NDIS Goals.

  • Have evidence of eligibility and right to work in Australia.
  • Hold or be willing to obtain NDIS worker screening or yellow card.
  • Hold or be willing to obtain a blue card.
  • Hold Certificate III in disability or similar.
