We are seeking a motivated and experienced Geology Technician to join our dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:- Participating in pre-starts and handovers to arrange daily work activities and prioritization.
- Processing of diamond drill core samples, ensuring layout and orientation of core samples and meters are correct, marked up, and cut, ready for laboratory analysis.
- Maintaining high standards of housekeeping, ensuring remaining core samples, core pallets, and chip trays are systematically stored, and all data collected is recorded.
- Strong understanding and experience with processing grade control diamond core.
- Experience with meter marking, orientation, cutting, and sampling.
- Competency with Integrated Tool Carrier operation (highly regarded).
- C Class manual driver's license.
