Lead AML Compliance Specialist

We are seeking an experienced AML professional to oversee the management of our Anti-Money Laundering (AML) program.

This role entails acting as the primary point of contact for local regulators, ensuring our AML program remains compliant with regulatory requirements and enhances our business objectives.

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum 6+ years of proven experience within AML compliance roles, along with tertiary qualifications and in-depth knowledge of AML/CTF regulations in Australia.

Main skills required include negotiation, problem-solving, strong communication, and ability to present effectively to key stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the AML program is up-to-date and meets regulatory standards
  • Engage with local regulators to enhance program effectiveness
  • Maintain day-to-day oversight of the Adelaide AML/CTF Program
  • Cooperate with other teams to ensure seamless execution of program objectives

Requirements:

  • Minimum 6+ years of experience in AML compliance roles
  • Tertiary qualifications in relevant field
  • Sound knowledge of AML/CTF regulations in Australia
