We are seeking a skilled professional to assume the role of Accounts Payable Specialist. This position plays a vital part in ensuring that all goods and services purchased by our organization are accurately processed and paid for within agreed timelines and in compliance with relevant legislative requirements.

About the Role

This specialist is responsible for the timely and accurate processing of accounts payable transactions, monitoring and maintaining the accounts payable inbox, and reviewing and validating all incoming documents through internal systems to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Responsibilities include:

  • Processing accounts payable transactions in a timely and accurate manner
  • Maintaining the accounts payable inbox and addressing queries and invoices promptly
  • Validating all incoming documents through internal systems
  • Preparing and executing payments in line with schedules and policies
  • Supporting month-end closing and reporting requirements
  • Responding to vendor and internal inquiries in a professional and timely manner

The successful candidate will possess strong communication skills, time management skills, attention to detail, and high level of accuracy. They will also have experience with finance systems and be able to meet deadlines.

  • 2+ years' experience in an accounts payable role
