Due Diligence Investigator

The Star Entertainment Group is seeking a highly skilled Due Diligence Analyst to join our Group Controls team. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding the casino's reputation and financial well-being while meeting regulatory and governance requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Collate, analyse and evaluate information from various sources, including commercial and open-source databases, to identify and classify potential AML/CTF related risk.
- Update TrackVia and CMS with revised risk ratings and concise summaries of due diligence findings, and compile in-depth diligence reports as required.
- Remain up-to-date with industry best practice and maintain an in-depth knowledge of AML/CTF legislation.
- Ensure the integrity of data file uploads for AUSTRAC reporting purposes.
- Experience working in a due diligence, intelligence, investigative or compliance-related environment, or tertiary studies in a subject requiring high-level critical analysis and independent research.
- High-level research, analytical and critical thinking skills, and the proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Comprehensive understanding of relevant statutory compliance and reporting requirements.
- Experience working in a casino and/or gaming environment is an advantage but not essential.
