The Role:

As a Compliance Expert for Enhanced Due Diligence, you will be responsible for performing KYC Enhanced Due Diligence activities for financial institutions. This includes adhering to management information reporting, following established processes, procedures, and policies.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough Enhanced Due Diligence reviews for commercial and retail customers
  • Develop and implement robust processes and procedures for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and KYC obligations
  • Make primary decisions on documentation review and Quality Control for new or updated client onboarding/remediation
  • Investigate potential suspicious transaction alerts effectively and prepare high-quality dispositions
  • Meet daily KPIs for transaction alert analysis
  • Fulfill SMR as required
  • Collaborate with supervisors on further reviews and investigations for TM cases
  • Maintain accurate records and update registers regarding investigation findings
  • Nurture excellent working relationships with stakeholders at all levels

Requirements:

This role demands significant expertise in Enhanced Due Diligence KYC combined with a deep understanding of global markets and the international banking environment. Ideal candidates should have:

  • A minimum of 12-18 months experience supporting EDD KYC engagements
  • Served as a subject matter expert (SME) or Quality Analyst in KYC engagements
  • Hands-on knowledge of EDD KYC processes
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to develop strong working relationships with internal and external parties across multiple locations

Qualifications:

Educated to degree level, with a demonstrated ability to communicate complex issues to business partners. Strong experience in the financial services industry is preferred, along with problem-solving skills, detail orientation, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
