Looking for a dynamic and supportive role in the food and beverage industry? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Dining Services Assistant at Dreamworld, located in Coomera, Queensland.

We are seeking part-time and casual staff to assist with kitchen operations, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in our kitchen areas. As a Dining Services Assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring that all kitchen appliances and workspaces are ready for action, upholding our high standards for food preparation.

The ideal candidate will have previous kitchen experience, skills in kitchen organization, and a positive attitude. You will be self-motivated, reliable, and able to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment. If you are flexible and able to work various shifts, including weekends and late nights, we would love to hear from you.

We estimate the salary for this role to be around $25-30 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. However, please note that actual salaries may vary based on individual circumstances.

In this role, you can expect to perform tasks such as:

  • Maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of kitchen areas
  • Ensuring adequate supply of clean crockery for food and beverage outlets
  • Performing surface and deep cleans as scheduled
  • Emptying rubbish bins and removal of cardboard waste
  • Monitoring stock rotation and replenishment of stock levels

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Previous kitchen experience or similar tasks
  • Self-motivation and reliability
  • A positive, can-do attitude
  • A sense of urgency and ability to work quickly and safely
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and late nights
