About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Bridge Engineer/Team Leader to join our Transport Delivery team in Perth, Western Australia. As a key member of our bridge team, you will be responsible for leading the design and delivery of complex bridge projects, working closely with our national bridge team to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and delivery of complex bridge projects, ensuring compliance with project requirements and company standards.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members, including training and professional development.
  • Collaborate with our marketing and business development team to position for potential projects and develop technical proposals.
  • Contribute to the development of new standards and specifications for bridge and civil structures design.
  • Plan, conduct, and coordinate engineering assignments, including project coordination meetings and contract negotiations.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in Civil or Structural Engineering with a minimum 10 years' experience in the delivery of multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects.
  • Charted Professional Engineer (CPEng) status.
  • Experience with structural analysis software such as SPACEGASS, STRAND7, and MIDAS.
  • Familiarity with WA Structural Engineering and Bridge Branch manuals, Austroads, and Australian Standards.
  • Previous experience working on major projects (MRWA/PTA or similar).
