About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Education Support Teacher to join our team at Geographe ESC. As an Education Support Teacher, you will play a vital role in supporting students with a range of disabilities from Kindergarten to Year 12.

Key Responsibilities
  • Use explicit teaching strategies and exhibit effective classroom management skills to enhance student learning and wellbeing.
  • Plan, program, and assess using an integrated curriculum, differentiated to meet individual student needs.
  • Work collaboratively with families, therapists, and outside agencies to improve student outcomes.
  • Manage a team of Education Assistants to create a safe and supportive learning environment for students.
Requirements
  • Hold an eligible teaching qualification.
  • Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident, or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment.
  • Apply for a WA Working with Children Check before starting.
  • Consent to and obtain a National Criminal History Check with the Department's Screening Unit.
