Above award salary, with an estimated annual remuneration ranging from $120,000 to $180,000, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Description

As a Rehabilitation Consultant at Altius Group, you will play a vital role in facilitating the recovery and rehabilitation of individuals who have experienced injury, illness, or disability. Your clinical expertise and guidance will be crucial in supporting individuals regain independence, improve their quality of life, and reintegrate into the community and the workforce.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop comprehensive rehabilitation plans that support a whole-of-person approach to rehabilitation.
  • Conduct a range of assessments, including Functional Capacity Evaluations, Workplace Assessments, Ergonomic Assessments, and Activities of Daily Living Assessment (ADLS).
  • Utilise problem-solving skills, clinical experience, and knowledge of injury management to perform assessments and facilitate the return to work of claimants.
  • Work closely with various stakeholders, including clients, their families, insurance companies, employers, and other healthcare professionals to evaluate physical, psychological, and social factors.
  • Present case information to various stakeholders and provide credible recommendations/solutions to drive the desired goal.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A tertiary qualification in either Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, or Exercise Physiology.
  • Appropriate registration with AHPRA or ESSA/SIRA Accreditation.
  • Full Australian working rights.
  • A current driver's license and car.
