About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist to join our team at IPAR. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing occupational rehabilitation services to clients with a range of conditions, both physical and psychological.

Key Responsibilities

  • Case management and assessment of clients to identify their goals and develop tailored rehabilitation plans;
  • Collaboration with employers and employees to develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs;
  • Working with injured workers, employers, medical and allied health professionals to achieve return to health and return to work outcomes;
  • Completing a variety of assessments using clinical skills, including initial, workplace and vocational assessments to review diagnosis, support treatment plans, address psychosocial barriers to employment and identify suitable employment opportunities;

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology or Physiotherapy;
  • Registration with AHPRA or ESSA plus SIRA Accreditation;
  • Previous experience working in Occupational Rehabilitation industry highly regarded;
  • Fabulous communication skills and ability to work with diverse stakeholders;
  • Compassion and kindness, with empathy and understanding of clients' needs;
  • Well-developed time management skills and ability to work autonomously;
  • A current NSW Driver's License and access to own car with comprehensive car insurance.
