Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Biomedical Collector to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient collection and transportation of biological samples to support patient diagnosis and treatment.

You will work closely with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless sample collection, labeling, and documentation. Your strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will enable you to build effective relationships with our patients, their families, and the broader healthcare community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with medical staff to understand patient needs and requirements.
  • Collect and process biological samples according to established protocols.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports for all samples collected and processed.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated experience in phlebotomy or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Organized and able to prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Australian citizenship or permanent residency, or a New Zealand citizen, or hold a valid visa with permission to work.
  • Vaccine preventable disease evidence such as Hepatitis B is a requirement of this role.
