About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Equipment Engineer to join our team in Australia. As a Mechanical Equipment Engineer, you will be responsible for providing specialist advice on policy and procedural matters, contributing to their development and review.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical expertise in mechanical rotating equipment services, including troubleshooting and maintenance.
  • Work effectively with the site team to deliver contract and business objectives.
  • Monitor quality of work and work outcomes to maintain a high standard of workmanship and reliability.
  • Develop and implement corrective and preventive measures to mitigate future failures.
  • Engage with key stakeholders and clients to deliver contract performance objectives.
  • Provide asset management and engineering support to site crew.
  • Liaise with customers regarding estimation and design.
  • Initiate and participate in the planning and development of engineering policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with Professional Engineering Registration.
  • 10+ years technical experience with electrical rotating equipment services.
  • Strong experience and knowledge in Mechanical rotating equipment used in Mining applications.
  • Strong communication and time management skills.
  • Experience with the maintenance and asset management of rotating equipment.
  • Familiar with Australian and international standards.
