Berg Engineering Integrity Engineer Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Integrity Engineer to oversee our welding department's operations, ensuring projects are completed on time and meet our strict quality standards.

About the Role:
  • Conduct welding coordination tasks as detailed in ISO 14731, covering both Brisbane and Gladstone sites.
  • Comply with Quality, Safety and Environmental Management policies.
  • Conduct internal audit on welding quality controls as detailed in AS/NZS ISO 3438.2.
  • Facilitate external audits for AS/NZS ISO 3834.2.
  • Review and analyse opportunity requirements, Opportunity Review.
  • Conduct Technical Reviews.
  • Identify and nominate non-destructive testing and weld acceptance requirements.
  • Develop and approve Heat Treatment plans.
  • Ensure welding procedure database is current.
  • Ensure welding procedures meet customer requirements.
  • Ensure welder qualifications are current and meet customer requirements.
  • Approve company welding procedure specifications.
  • Ensure welding plant and associated equipment is maintained and in calibration.
  • Optimise welding resources, ensuring maximum efficiency.
  • Manage welding and welding related non-conformances.
  • Facilitate non-compliance resolution.
  • Develop detailed welding and inspection plans for manufacture or repair items.
  • Provide detailed weld mapping and weld sequencing.
  • Provide technical assistance to Business Development and Sales teams.
  • Mentor Welding Supervisors and Inspection personnel.
  • Assess and monitor suppliers and sub-contractors.
  • Ensure effective traceability records are maintained, meeting customer requirements.
  • Ensure quality records are kept and maintained as required.
  • Ensure activities are performed in accordance with legislative requirements and Berg Engineering's policies and procedures.
  • Participate in the continual improvement of the Quality, Safety and Environmental Management Systems by giving feedback on the organisation.
