Job Title: Blow Moulding Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Blow Moulding Technician to join our team at our Brendale facility. As a Blow Moulding Technician, you will be responsible for making necessary changes and adjustments to the technical blow moulding and auxiliary equipment in a safe and controlled manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Mould and colour changes as per the production plan
  • Making machine adjustments as per the setup sheet and training to maintain a quality product
  • Forklift driving as required for finished stock
  • Prioritisation of work and machines to the production plan to ensure customer deliveries are made on time and in full with no defects
  • Mechanical maintenance of machines to ensure they are kept in satisfactory condition
  • Flexibility of working rotation shift work Monday – Friday also working Weekends as required
  • Packing product during meal breaks and slow down periods
Requirements:
  • 3+ years' experience as a Blow Moulding Technician
  • Mechanical and technical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical and complex mechanical equipment
  • Ability to perform and recognize bottle quality and operating efficiency
  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent, technical or vocational training highly regarded
  • Fitter & Turner/Machinist Trade qualified highly regarded
  • Current Forklift License
