Unlocking Potential with Everyday Independence
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Developmental Educator to join our team in Shepparton. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will work collaboratively to empower individuals with disabilities to achieve their goals and live fulfilling lives.
**About the Role**:
- Develop and implement person-centered support plans to enhance participants' capacity for independence
- Work closely with families, carers, and support teams to build strong relationships and promote positive outcomes
- Collaborate with other professionals to identify and address barriers to participation and inclusion
- Use evidence-based practice to develop effective solutions and strategies for participants
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor or Master's degree in Disability (or equivalent) and eligibility for DEAI membership
- Suitability assessment and Behaviour Support Practitioner certification by the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission (if required)
- Strong advocacy skills, empathy, and non-judgmental approach
- Ability to obtain NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children's Check
- Valid driver's license
