">We are seeking an experienced Early Childhood Teacher to lead our three-year-old kindergarten program at Mooroopna Children and Families Centre.
">About the Role
">This is a part-time position (37 hours 30 minutes per week) with a permanent employment agreement.
">The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a warm, safe, and stimulating environment that fosters children's confidence, promotes a sense of belonging, cultivates a love of learning, and encourages community connectedness.
">Key Responsibilities

- To design and implement a play-based education and care program that aligns with the National Quality Framework.">
- To build strong relationships with children, families, and staff to ensure a smooth transition from home to our service.">
- To participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the development of centre policies and procedures.">
- To maintain accurate records of children's progress and developmental milestones.">
- To adhere to the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration requirements.">
- To hold a current First Aid certification, CPR certification, and a valid Employee Working with Children Check Card (WWCC).">
- To commit to ongoing professional development and training to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.">
Requirements
">The ideal candidate will possess:

- A Bachelor of Early Childhood Education or equivalent qualification recognised by ACECQA.">
- Current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration.">
- A valid Employee Working with Children Check Card (WWCC).">
- Current First Aid certification and CPR certification.">
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.">
- A commitment to providing high-quality education and care services.">
- A passion for working with young children and their families.">
- A willingness to work collaboratively as part of a team.">
- A strong understanding of the National Quality Framework and the Early Years Learning Framework.">
