About the Role:

The Portfolio Controls Specialist is accountable for developing and implementing a strategic financial planning framework to optimize project budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes.

This position involves leading the development of advanced systems, processes, and procedures for project budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting to ensure high-quality information is available for informed decision-making.

  • Coordinate with program and project managers to establish monthly forecasts
  • Consolidate forecasts and report on monthly budget versus forecast (actuals and estimate to complete cost)
  • Analyze variances between actuals and previous month's forecast
  • Review procurement items to ensure accurate representation of forecasts
  • Collaborate with finance to ensure accounting transactions are accurately executed

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will possess a degree in a relevant field or equivalent skills and experience. You will also have extensive experience in providing a range of project financial support services across diverse projects.

You should demonstrate expertise in resource management and cost planning, as well as proficiency in using Project Online and Project Accounting software.
