We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as an Aircraft Documentation Specialist. The successful candidate will have experience in developing and authoring technical publications, as well as interfacing with operational and maintenance personnel in a dynamic operational work environment.

About the Role

As a Technical Author, you will be responsible for developing and updating technical manuals and documentation by analysing engineering, military, regulatory, and manufacturer data from various sources. You will also conduct thorough research to support the creation and revision of technical publications, collaborate closely with key stakeholders to gather essential data for accurate and comprehensive technical documentation, and ensure the timely, precise, and efficient delivery of all Technical Publications outputs.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and update technical manuals and documentation by analysing engineering, military, regulatory, and manufacturer data from various sources.
  • Conduct thorough research to support the creation and revision of technical publications.
  • Closely collaborate with key stakeholders to gather essential data for accurate and comprehensive technical documentation.
  • Efficiently deliver all Technical Publications outputs on time.
  • Manage and resolve deficiencies and enhancement requests from Maintenance, Engineering, and Operations through the Publication Improvement Report & Reply process.
  • Maintain compliance with security, intellectual property, and export control regulations across all technical publications.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will have an Aircraft Aviation background, either a highly skilled trade or qualified engineer. You will also have experience in developing and authoring technical publications, as well as interfacing with operational and maintenance personnel in a dynamic operational work environment. Ability to read and interpret Engineering drawings is also essential. Additionally, you must be able to obtain an AGSVA Security Clearance.
