Senior Technical Specialist for Aircraft Modifications

We are seeking an experienced Avionics Engineering Specialist to support the development of avionics and electrical modifications to aircraft through design, certification, and technical support processes.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop, review, and approve various aircraft Avionics / Electrical and/or Electronic System Modifications including all supporting documentation within delegated engineering authority assigned under Part 21 MDO and/or Part M CAM Services.
- Hold Engineering Authority (EA) as a Compliance Verification Engineer (CVE) under DASR Part 21J to authorize minor changes to type design and repairs and compliance check of major designs in support of DASA approval.
- Apply Systems Engineering processes across the product lifecycle.
- Coordinate and provide support to project management of tasks through the design development and installation phases.
- Provide advice to internal/external stakeholders and represent the team on specific projects, technical issues, and intra-/inter-organisational meetings as required.
- Review work of junior engineers for technical accuracy, adequacy, and quality.
- Relevant engineering degree in Avionics/Electrical/Mechatronics.
- Experience as a Professional Engineer in the aviation industry.
- Working knowledge of CASA/DASA/EASA regulations.
- Understanding of Configuration Control and Design Change Management.
- Australian citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a Defence security clearance.
