Job Title: Quantity Surveyor
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team at WT Partnership. As a key member of our Adelaide office, you will be responsible for providing cost management and quantity surveying services to our clients across various sectors, including commercial, retail, and residential construction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaise with clients, architects, and main contractors to ensure accurate and timely cost reporting.
- Identify and facilitate new business opportunities to drive growth and revenue.
- Develop and implement cost management strategies to maximize value for our clients.
- Perform cost checking of developing designs and provide recommendations for cost savings.
- Conduct tender evaluations and analysis to ensure the best value for our clients.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients and contractors.
- Manage cash flow and procurement processes to ensure efficient project delivery.
- Prepare and present cost reports to clients and stakeholders.
- Evaluate variations and claims to ensure accurate and timely resolution.
- Provide investment analysis and advice to clients.
- Develop and implement benchmarking processes to improve the consistency and accuracy of cost models and plans.
Requirements:
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management.
- Full Australian working rights and current location in Australia.
- RICS/AIQS accreditation highly regarded.
- Proficient in the use of Cost X.
- Highly motivated with a passion for delivering excellence to clients.
