Job Title: Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team at WT Partnership. As a key member of our Adelaide office, you will be responsible for supporting our expanding retail, commercial, and residential construction projects.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Liaising with clients, architects, and main contractors to ensure seamless project delivery
  • Identifying and facilitating new business opportunities to drive growth and revenue
  • Master-planning and feasibility budgeting to ensure accurate cost projections
  • Cost checking of developing designs to ensure compliance with project requirements
  • Value engineering to optimize project costs and improve efficiency
  • Tender evaluations and analysis to ensure best value for our clients
  • Contract negotiations to secure favorable terms and conditions
  • Cash flow management to ensure timely payments and minimize financial risks
  • Procurement to source materials and services at competitive prices
  • Cost reporting to provide accurate and timely financial information
  • Evaluation of variations to ensure fair and reasonable adjustments
  • Valuations to determine project values and ensure accurate financial reporting
  • Final account reporting to ensure accurate and complete project closure
  • Claims preparation, presentation, negotiation, and settlement to resolve disputes and ensure fair outcomes
  • Investment analysis to inform business decisions and drive growth

Requirements:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management
  • Full Australian working rights and current location in Australia
  • RICS/AIQS accreditation highly regarded
  • Proficient in the use of Cost X
  • Highly motivated with a passion for delivering excellence to clients
