Youth Employment Specialist

Are you passionate about empowering young people to achieve their career goals? We are seeking a dedicated and results-driven Youth Employment Coach to join our team at SYC.
About the Role:
As a Youth Employment Coach, you will play a vital role in supporting young people to secure sustainable employment. You will work closely with our clients to develop personalized job plans, provide intensive pre-employment support, and build strong relationships with local businesses and education/training providers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of young people and provide individualized support to help them achieve their employment goals
- Develop and maintain strong links with local businesses, education/training providers, and community agencies
- Provide intensive pre-employment support to young people, including job readiness training and placement services
- Work collaboratively with our team to achieve client outcomes and meet performance targets
About You:
We are looking for a motivated and outcome-driven individual who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people. You will have a strong understanding of the challenges faced by disengaged young people and be able to build rapport with them to achieve successful outcomes.
Requirements:
- Experience working with disengaged young people and a proven track record of achieving successful outcomes
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with young people, employers, and community agencies
- Results-driven and passionate about performance, with a focus on meeting and exceeding performance targets
