Electrical Communications Professional

As a Communications Installation Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in the development and maintenance of our underground communications infrastructure.
About the RoleThis is a permanent full-time position operating on an 8 days on, 6 days off roster located at an Australian mine site.
FIFO options are available from Perth, or residential positions from Kalgoorlie or Kambalda with daily bus transportation provided.
Install and maintain underground fixed plant network infrastructure to ensure seamless communication.
Provide technical support for communications equipment and new technologies to optimize system performance.
Commission and install new communications equipment and technology to enhance our operations.
Maintain and repair existing communications systems to minimize downtime.
A Class Electrical Workers License - highly desirable.
Current manual C Class Driver's License.
Minimum 3 years' experience in radio communications, telemetry networks, and maintenance in surface and underground mining environments.
Open cabling ticket with fibre endorsement, structured cabling, and coaxial is desirable.
Tertiary qualification in IT, Communications, and/or Instrumentation is desirable.
