Custom Cabinet Fabricator Wanted

We are seeking an experienced and skilled fabricator to join our team.

About the Role:

  • You will be responsible for the fabrication and installation of custom cabinets, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Read and interpret drawings and work orders to determine layout and specifications.
  2. Measure and mark dimensions of materials using various measuring tools.
  3. Cut, shape, and assemble wooden components using hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machines.
  4. Install cabinets in residential or commercial settings according to project specifications.
  5. Align, level, and trim cabinetry components during installation.
  6. Repair or modify existing cabinetry as needed to ensure proper fit and function.
  7. Maintain tools and equipment in good working order.
  8. Collaborate with team members on project timelines and workloads.

Requirements:

  1. High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in cabinetmaking or carpentry preferred.
  2. 2+ years of experience in cabinetmaking or a related field.
  3. Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and woodworking equipment.
  4. Strong attention to detail with a dedication to quality craftsmanship.
  5. Ability to read blueprints and follow design specifications accurately.
  6. Excellent problem-solving abilities: able to identify issues and troubleshoot effectively.
  7. Good communication skills; able to work effectively with team members on projects.
