Culinary Expert Wanted

As a culinary expert, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes in our fast-paced kitchen environment. You will work collaboratively with the kitchen team to manage food preparation, inventory, and stock rotation.

About the Position:

The primary focus of this role is to prepare Indian and Pakistani dishes to meet our standards of excellence. Your responsibilities will include managing food safety and hygiene standards, collaborating with the kitchen team, and contributing to the development of new menu items.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Dish Preparation: Prepare and cook a variety of Indian and Pakistani dishes following traditional recipes and presentation standards.
  2. Food Safety and Hygiene: Maintain food safety and hygiene standards in the kitchen at all times.
  3. Teamwork: Collaborate with the kitchen team to manage food preparation, inventory, and stock rotation.
  4. Menu Development: Assist in developing new menu items and specials to enhance the dining experience.
Requirements:
  1. Australian citizenship or permanent residency is preferred.
  2. Required qualifications include a diploma in culinary arts, hospitality, or a related field.
  3. At least one year of professional cooking experience, preferably in Indian or Pakistani cuisine, is required.
  4. You should be proficient in preparing authentic Indian and Pakistani dishes with attention to flavor and presentation.
  5. Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices is essential.
  6. Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure kitchen environment.
  7. Excellent teamwork and communication skills are necessary.
