The role of Senior DevOps Engineer is a high-impact position that plays a key part in enabling teams to deliver value streams faster while ensuring platform reliability and resilience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Designing, building, and supporting Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) solutions on both SS&C Private Cloud and AWS
  • Provisioning and maintaining infrastructure for application teams across Linux and Windows environments
  • Driving platform stability, reliability, security, and performance through proactive engineering and support
  • Collaborating with global teams across multiple regions to support daily operations and promote DevOps best practices
  • Participating in a follow-the-sun on-call support model to ensure platform availability and performance
  • Ensuring systems meet regulatory, security, and audit compliance standards

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
  2. 5+ years of experience in a DevOps-related role for senior-level candidates
  3. Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
  4. Proficiency in Linux system engineering
  5. Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, preferably using GitHub Actions
  6. Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, especially Terraform
  7. Familiarity with configuration management tools such as Ansible or Salt
  8. Experience with logging and monitoring tools such as Grafana, Promtail, and Loki
  9. Proficiency in Kubernetes, Helm, and GitOps tools like ArgoCD
  10. Kubernetes administration experience is a strong advantage
  11. Solid understanding of Microservices Architecture and Service Mesh
  12. Experience with building and managing Windows-based infrastructure
  13. Familiarity with artifact management tools such as JFrog Artifactory
  14. Strong knowledge of AWS services, including EC2, ECS, RDS, S3, CloudFront, WAF, API Gateway, Lambda, ElastiCache, Elasticsearch, SQS, SNS, EKS, etc.
  15. Proficiency in at least one programming language, preferably Python
  16. Experience with systems such as Kafka, Keycloak, Airflow, NiFi, Rentaho, Redis, PostgreSQL, etc.
