Health, Safety and Environment Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) professional to join our team in Dubbo, NSW. As the HSE Representative, you will play a key role in ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards across a high-impact civil construction project.
The successful candidate will have expertise in WHS and environmental management, with strong understanding of HSE legislation and civil construction environments. They will also possess formal qualifications in WHS/OHS, internal auditor certification and ICAM Lead Investigator credentials.
Responsibilities:
- Provide expert advice on WHS and environmental matters to project teams.
- Lead risk assessments and develop safety and environmental work method statements.
- Support the implementation of site-specific management plans.
- Monitor compliance through inspections, audits and reporting.
- Facilitate incident investigations and corrective actions.
- Mentor teams and subcontractors in HSE standards.
- Assist with pre-contracts and tender submissions.
