Job Title

The Operational Services Officer will be a key contributor to the effective operation of our team, delivering exceptional patient care and service during phlebotomy, specimen collection, management, and administration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality patient care and service during duties in Phlebotomy, specimen collection, management, and administration.
  • Manage specimens in the pre-analytical stage to ensure quality samples for testing, leading to timely diagnosis and treatment of patients.
  • Receive, sort, and perform preliminary preparation on specimens for analysis.
  • Ensure specimens are stored and transported under defined conditions.
  • Enter patient/testing information into laboratory computer systems accurately and timely.
  • Manage external and internal customer enquiries effectively.
